Speak Up! The Role of Friends in
Library Advocacy and Community Involvement

 

Synopsis: The role of Friends as advocates for libraries and community involvement is critical at all times, even more critical during these tough times for Michigan libraries. This workshop will focus on how Friends can help build partnerships, develop synergy of resources within the community, and go the distance in promoting the library as a vital part of community services. Along the way, there’ll be time for networking and a few fundraising ideas among Michigan Friends.
